Deep cleaning means root scaling and planing which is performed by dentist to thoroughly remove plaque and tartar from the surface of the teeth above and under the gum line.
When to use it?
Poor brushing or lack of regular dental cleaning may result in gum disease; an inflammatory response of tissues surrounding the teeth. Scaling and root planing is a non-surgical procedure performed to treat periodontal disease.
